Thou Shalt Not Kill

How do I judge myself?
Let me count the ways.
Every judgement of self or another
Pierces a heart, either mine or the other's.

The greatest slayer of all time is judgement.
It lurks in the shadows of my mind.
Waiting for its opportunity to spring forth
and render me victim or persecutor.

It demolishes my confidence with self-doubt.
It impales me with arrows of utter despair.
It embroils me with feelings of
   shame and unworthiness.

Let me embrace self-doubt and judgement
With such Love
that they are drawn in, like moths,
to the Sacred Light of my Soul's Love.
   Judgement embraced by Soul.

No longer desiring to play the old game
Of killing me.
